Why Invitational Intervention?

More reasons to implement an Invitational Intervention:
-
An Invitational Intervention is based on love, care and respect, completely free of guilt and shame.
-
The addicted person will be invited from the start, so there's no need for shaming or lying.
-
When you as a family and network, including the addict, work together, you create insights and understanding of what the situation really looks like.
-
You as relatives and friends are also offered help in dealing with unwanted behaviors such as co-dependency, which affects the development and recovery of the addicted person.

An Invitational Intervention is about saving the lives of people struggling with addiction - and then you are all needed. Together.
An Invitational Intervention is a powerful method to break the destructive and unhealthy behavior that often develops in families and networks around an addicted person. Addiction creates invisible walls that damage close relationships, for example through silence, manipulation and co-dependency. These walls must be torn down in order for us to save the addicted person. For you as family and friends, this can feel like an overwhelming task, as you are often both desperate and emotionally involved.
With me as your professionally trained interventionist, you will receive safe guidance together with the addict, so that together you can steer towards a healthy and happy life. A big advantage is that you no longer have to bear the heavy responsibility for each other's feelings or be afraid of hurting your loved ones.
